Hi Room 13 Friends and Families!
My name is Seana Nygard and I am your first grade teacher this year! Here is a photo of my family. As you can see, I have a husband, three children and a big puppy! We love to play at the beach and on our boat as a family. Mr. Nygard and I spend a lot of time on the sidelines of fields and courts, watching our children play lots of sports year round. I love to read, exercise and cook, and I try to set aside time once in a while to do these things! I have been a teacher for many years but I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in first grade! Isn't that amazing? My first grade teacher inspired me so much and so here I am today, doing what I love to do! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We will make magic together in Room 13!

Moon Sand: 8 cups of flour, 1 cup of baby oil. Mix and play!
Play Snow: 1/2 cup of hair conditioner, 2 cups of baking soda. Mix and play!
Unpoppable Bubbles: 6 cups of water, 1 cup of corn syrup, 2 cups of Joy dish soap. Mix and play!
Super Bouncy Ball: 1/4 cup of Elmer's glue, few drops of food coloring, mix well. Add 1/2 T of Borax and stir. Add 1/4 cup of Warm water and stir. Make it into a ball. Run it under Warm water. Dry it and form into a super bouncy ball! Go play!
Kids Paint: 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, food coloring. Mix and paint!
Night Time Bowling: Put glow sticks inside water bottles and line them up like the pins. Get a ball and bowl at night!
